Βρετανία: Το Λονδίνο θα εκπαιδεύσει δυνάμεις της συριακής αντιπολίτευσης
Η Βρετανία θα στείλει μία δύναμη από περίπου 75 στρατιωτικούς, οι οποίοι θα ενταχθούν σε πρόγραμμα υπό τις ΗΠΑ με στόχο την εκπαίδευση των δυνάμεων της συριακής αντιπολίτευσης, δήλωσε σήμερα ο υπουργός Άμυνας Μάικλ Φάλον….

Η εκπαίδευση θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Τουρκία και σε άλλες χώρες της περιοχής οι οποίες μετέχουν στον διεθνή συνασπισμό που μάχεται κατά του Ισλαμικού Κράτους.
Εξάλλου η Βρετανία θα στείλει στην περιοχή δύο αεροσκάφη τύπου Sentinel (σ.σ μη επανδρωμένα αεροσκάφη εναέριας επιτήρησης) για την ευρύτερη παρακολούθηση του εναέριου χώρου του Ιράκ.

Στο πλαίσιο της εκπαίδευσης, η οποία αναμένεται να ξεκινήσει μέσα στις επόμενες εβδομάδες, βρετανοί στρατιωτικοί θα διδάξουν την χρήση μικρών όπλων, τακτικές μάχης και παροχή ιατρικής βοήθειας, σύμφωνα με τον Φάλον.
Η εκπαίδευση θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Τουρκία και σε άλλες χώρες της περιοχής οι οποίες μετέχουν στον διεθνή συνασπισμό που μάχεται κατά του Ισλαμικού Κράτους.
Εξάλλου η Βρετανία θα στείλει στην περιοχή δύο αεροσκάφη τύπου Sentinel (σ.σ μη επανδρωμένα αεροσκάφη εναέριας επιτήρησης) για την ευρύτερη παρακολούθηση του εναέριου χώρου του Ιράκ.
